House Rules

1. Capacity

• Main studio: up to 30 people combined (crew + talent + guests).
• Podcast set: up to 6 people on set.
• Crews larger than 20 must notify us at booking so we can prepare parking and reception.
• Exceeding capacity without prior approval may result in the booking being paused until the overflow leaves.

2. Smoking, alcohol, and substances

• No smoking, vaping, shisha, or e-cigarettes anywhere on the premises — indoors or in the covered parking.
• No alcohol on premises unless explicitly arranged for a licensed event with written consent from management.
• No recreational drugs at any time. People appearing to be under the influence may be denied entry.

3. Open flames, smoke, and special effects

• No candles, matches, lighters, fire, or pyrotechnics on set without written consent from management at least 48 hours in advance.
• Smoke machines (fog, haze, atmospheric) require prior approval. Most requests are approved for a nominal fee and a signed rider.
• No confetti, glitter, or loose sparkles — these cause severe cleanup issues and may incur a deep-clean fee of up to AED 1,000.

4. Walls, backdrops, and surfaces

• No nails, pins, tape, or adhesives on walls, moveable walls, cyc, or backdrops without prior approval.
• Gaffer tape is permitted on the floor only. Please remove any residue before wrap.
• The Infinity Cove surface is paintable but repaint is scheduled and billed separately — please request in advance.

5. Props, equipment, and handling

• Do not drag props or furniture across floors — lift and reposition. Scuff marks may be charged for.
• Studio equipment (lighting, stands, C-stands, sandbags) may be moved and repositioned, but must be returned to its original storage location at wrap.
• The on-site studio assistant is available to help reconfigure the moveable walls and lighting. Please ask rather than attempting heavy moves alone.
• Do not use studio equipment for purposes other than intended (e.g., don’t stand on C-stands).

6. Food & beverage

• Outside food and beverage are welcome in designated areas (makeup/prep, green room, parking).
• No eating or drinking on the Infinity Cove or backdrops.
• Catering drop-off is permitted. We can recommend partner restaurants — please ask at booking.
• No open-flame or gas-burner cooking without prior written consent. Electric warming is fine.
• Please bag and bin all food waste before wrap.

7. Pets

• Pets are welcome for pet-related shoots with prior written consent. Please notify us at booking.
• Owners are fully responsible for their animals — including cleanup, damage, and any distress to staff or other guests.

8. Noise

• The studio is in a commercial warehouse zone. Reasonable noise is fine at any hour.
• Music playback via the Bluetooth sound system is included. Please keep volumes to a level that doesn’t interfere with neighboring units or the podcast set if that space is also booked.

9. Cleanliness and handover

• Leave the studio as you found it.Basic reset is the client’s responsibility — remove personal items, bag trash, return borrowed props, wipe down prep/makeup stations.
• Normal cleaning is included. Excessive soiling (spilled liquids, makeup smears on backdrops, food debris on the floor) incurs a cleaning fee starting at AED 200 and up to AED 1,000 depending on extent.
• Cleanup must happen within your booked hours. Extending past your slot for cleanup triggers overtime billing.

10. Damage and liability

• Clients are responsible for damage caused during their booking by themselves, their crew, or their talent.
• Damage is billed at repair or replacement cost, whichever is applicable, to the card on file.
• Major damage (breakage of lights, camera, structural items) will be invoiced with a repair quote from the original supplier.
• Please notify staff immediately of any damage or accident — we do not penalize transparency, but we do penalize concealment.

11. Personal items and security

• Clients are responsible for their own equipment, wardrobe, and valuables. Innovex is not liable for loss or theft.
• Changing rooms and prep stations are private. Please lock any valuables in your car or in a private bag you keep with you.

12. Surveillance

• CCTV is in operation 24/7 in common areas (reception, parking, entrances, main studio floor). Footage is retained for 30 days for security purposes.
• Changing rooms, makeup stations, and restrooms are NOT on CCTV.
• By entering the premises you acknowledge the CCTV disclosure.

13. Access and load-in

• The studio operates 24/7. For shoots outside 08:00–22:00, please notify us at booking so staff can be ready.
• Ground-floor roll-up door gives level access for load-in — no stairs or elevators.
• Covered parking for up to 12 vehicles is reserved for the duration of your booking. Larger crews should arrange carpooling or use nearby street parking.

14. Intellectual property and content

• Clients own 100% of the content they create during their booking.
• Innovex may photograph the space itself(not client content or talent) for marketing purposes. If you’d like to opt out, notify us in writing at booking.
• Clients warrant that they hold all model releases and rights necessary for their shoot.

15. Minors

• Minors (under 18) are welcome on set as talent with a parent or legal guardian present.
• The parent or guardian is fully responsible for the minor’s conduct and safety.

16. Right to refuse

Innovex reserves the right to refuse entry or end a booking in cases of:

• Unsafe conduct toward staff, other clients, or the space.
• Violation of smoking, alcohol, or substance rules.
• Deceptive or unlawful use of the premises.

In such cases, no refunds are issued.

17. Agreement

Booking the studio constitutes acceptance of these House Rules. Please share them with your crew and talent before arrival — most issues are prevented simply by knowing the rules in advance.
